Palace Denies Abdication Rumor

Despite speculation that the Duchess of Regina, Saron Aledon would take herself and daughter Victoria out of the line of succession, official palace sources have announced that the Duchess has not yet decided, but would assume the ducal post "if the people demand it".

Persistent rumors have suggested that the current regent, Corina Ling-Raleigh might be nominated to the position if no suitable heir could be found.
